ABSTRACT:

This paper seeks to analyze how the working conditions for disabled civil servants belonging to the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), Jataí Regional, are presented. In this respect, the entry of disabled employees creates a new paradigm for public administration, establishing management policies that enable the realization of the right to equality and dignity through the structuring of an accessible, fraternal and supportive environment. For this, a documentary research was carried out, based on the current legislation related to the research theme: Federal Constitution of 1988; Law 8,112/90; Law N. 13.146/15; Law N. 7853/89; Law N. 10,436/02; Law N. 8,213/91; Decree N. 3298/99; Decree N. 5,626/05; as well as relevant documents, namely: Universal Declaration of Human Rights, 1948 (United Nations); San Jose Covenant of Costa Rica, promulgated in 1969; Institutional Development Plan - UFG (2011/2015). Based on the analysis of official documents and photographic records, supported by theoretical contributions, concepts and concepts about work are presented. In addition, a relationship between Law and Society and the influence of the laws for the consolidation of the notion of human dignity is drawn, promoting a discussion about the work within the perspective of the public service. Finally, we present an overview of the inclusion of disabled employees at the Federal University of Goiás, Jataí/Regional. As a result, it can be seen that the process of insertion of people with disabilities in the labor market/public service has often been marked by absurd and repeated situations of disrespect for their dignity, given the non-observance and denial of their differences. In this context, limitations and disadvantages are aggravated by the lack of adaptations and adjustments in the workplace, given the omission by managers. Keywords: Education. Disabled people.
